FAQs
-
A pre-purchase inspection ensures that you are aware of any hidden problems that may require costly repairs. It provides peace of mind by giving you an overview of the home’s condition, potentially saving you from future surprises and providing leverage during negotiations.
-
A 4-Point Inspection is an insurance form designed to help the insurance company assess the liability they take on with your policy. It covers the basic information of four main systems: roofing, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC. However, it is not a comprehensive inspection for buyers. Unlike a pre-purchase inspection, which is designed to help you make informed decisions about the property, the 4-Point Inspection doesn't evaluate the overall condition or potential issues that could affect your investment.
-
The duration of an inspection depends on the size and condition of the property, but it typically takes 2 to 4 hours. Afterward, a detailed report is delivered electronically on the same-day, outlining any findings and recommendations.
-
Yes! As part of our Damngood Inspection, we provide FREE 4-point and wind mitigation inspections, which are often required by insurance companies for homeowners insurance. There are no extra fees for these reports when you choose our service.
